Tribulus - the classic

This compund contains the powderized water-extract of the plant tribulus terrestris. It supplies the organism with glycosides, steroidsaponins (above all protodioscins standardized for 45% protodioscin-amount in the saponin-amount of 90%). No other compund on the market has such a high concentration. This way tribulus works much stronger that the commone ones.

Natural product

Tribulus is not a hormonal compund, the contained substances (especially saponins) effect a respectable raise of testosterone levels in males and estradiol in females without increasing it beyond physiological values. Tribulus has a generally strengthening and stimulating effect. The vitality of the organism, the motor activity and the ability are increased, the anabolic processes activated.

The compund has an aphrodisiac effect too and increases the sex drive, eliminates all symptomes of sexual disorder. Effects von Tribulus

In the context of scientifical studies it could be proved, that tribulus is no biological precursor of testosterone, but it increases the production of the pituitary luteinizing hormone (LH; UCSH = intersitial cell stimulating hormone). In such cases the natural testosterone- and FSH production is automatically increased too. FSH stands for: follicle stimulating hormone.
Testosterone is the male sex hormone, which increases the muscle mass and stimulates the immune system. Furthermore it effects an aggravation of sex drive. It embodies the most important sex hormone.
However FSH effects among others a positive influence on the spermiogenesis (sperm production) and the development of so called androgen binding protein (= ABP). Tribulus terrestris contains saponins, indols and polyphenols, that means the substances, which increase the release of testosterone. By inhibiting the transformation of testosterone into the harmful dehydrotestosterone, they prevent hair loss and prostate complaints. Tribulus increases the level of anabolic hormones significantly - that of lutropin about 72 and that of testosterone about 41 percent.
